Is there a future for nuclear power?

Scott spoke at a public event entitled Is there a future for nuclear power? presented by Science First. Focusing on the science of radioactive waste disposal, his main point was that understanding effective nuclear waste disposal is essential to the implementation of nuclear power. Also presenting was Dr Matthew Memmott (Chemical Engineering, Brigham Young University) on the promise of molten-salt reactors.
