Kiera goes to Germany

Kiera is spending the summer months in Jena on a Mitacs-DAAD RISE Globalink Research Internship. She’s working in the group of Prof Delia Brauer with Ph.D. student Zhaorui Jin on dissolution of phosphate bioglasses. Viel Glück, Kiera!

We can also congratulate Kiera on her first publication, a contribution to “Structural Role and Mechanical Impact of Zirconia in Lithium Disilicate Glass”, in the Journal of the American Ceramic Society, by Bahareh Kheilnezhad and Maziar Montazerian (Penn State University).
